Welcome to my humble website, I am (Dr.) Gennaro Nolano. I currently work as a Data Scientist/AI engineer at Mare Group. In 2023 I received my PhD in Computational Linguistics at university of Napoli "L'Orientale", where I was affiliated with the UniOR NLP Research Group since 2019.

My interests lie in the industrial applications of linguistics, in particular regarding natural language representation and semantics for Conversational Agents.
I have experience using Python for Web Scraping, Data Analysis and Data Visualization. I have (very) basic understanding of web development (as shown by this website!).
I also have professional experience as freelance Linguistic Assistant , and I hold a Master's Degree in Technical Translation.
